Ralston, a culinary school graduate from New Hampshire with Jamaican roots, brings a unique flair to the menu. His expertise and heritage shine through in every dish, especially the restaurant’s big sellers: golden, crispy fish and chips, a succulent shrimp plate, and exquisite tuna tartare.
Infusing American cuisine with a southern twist and subtle hints of Jamaican flavor, Ralston’s approach to food ensures that every dish and every meal on the expansive menu is a memorable experience.
Whenever possible, Ralston sources seafood and produce locally, supporting the island’s
economy and guaranteeing the freshest ingredients for his patrons. This commitment to quality extends beyond 11 Circuit, as Ralston also runs the popular Edgartown Diner, offers private catering services, and works as a private chef. Mavis, equally driven and passionate, manages a clothing store right next door (MandR Stylz).
Her entrepreneurial spirit is evident as she seamlessly balances running her store and assisting in the restaurant whenever needed. Together, Ralston and Mavis are a powerhouse couple, dedicated to making their mark on Martha’s Vineyard. “We are just a young couple trying to make it work,” Ralston told This Week on MV.
The restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, transforms at night into a lively nightclub. From June through September, 11 Circuit will serve late-night food, including a chicken basket, mozzarella sticks, and cheesy fries.
With a DJ spinning mostly hip-hop tunes, 11 Circuit becomes a hotspot for nightlife after the dinner crowd disperses, drawing both locals and tourists. The energy is infectious, and the music playing makes it impossible to stay seated.
