What happens when pizza meets artichokes, pesto, pineapple, ricotta, and sour cream? The best way to find out is to try one or more of the multitude of pizza pies at Edgartown Pizza.
On a recent visit, I was first mesmerized by the pizza perfume. But it was a slice of ricotta with chicken, and a slice of pineapple with bacon, that totally won me over.
Both arrived piping hot and radiating with cheese. The ratio of toppings to crust and sauce, as well as the correct sprinkling of spices, was just right. It was pizza done right. And judging from the clean plates and nodding head of approvals from other diners, I wasn’t the only one in pizza nirvana.
While Edgartown Pizza is indeed all that when it comes to pizza pies, grill items, salads, and sandwiches also hit the mark.
