Brunch used to be just for Sundays—you know–breakfast without an alarm clock. Thank goodness the increasingly popular brunch trend has expanded to include the rest of the week.
Some people say hangover brunch is the best kind of brunch. Others like to say brunch first.
The Brunch Burger starts with the requisite base required for any great burger: a half a pound of Angus beef cooked to order. What comes next is what makes this menu item two meals in one. An expertly fried egg is placed on top of the beef and then cheese, bacon, lettuce, and tomato are piled on. But wait, there’s more. Crispy golden brown onion rings are balanced high atop this heroic creation and pleasing packed in between not just any bun, but a brioche roll. Adorned with blazing hot French fries, this is what a brunch item should look like.
And since brunch without alcohol is just breakfast, make sure to wash it all down with any one of the diner’s cold craft beer offerings or a spicy Bloody Mary.
