Island Cove Adventures is the Perfect Stop for the Entire Family
Are you looking for a day of fun in the sun fit for the whole family? If so, come explore Island Cove Adventures! Island Cove Adventures, located off State Road in Vineyard Haven, is currently celebrating its 22nd season. Opened by Ray and Mary Gosselin, Island Cove Adventures has been the number one stop for mini-golf on the Vineyard for islanders and vacationers (including the Clintons and the Obamas) since 1992.
The mini-golf course features a vibrant landscape of extensive gardens. While playing the game, you are taken through a cave, by streams, under a waterfall, and eventually around a fishpond. This backdrop is the perfect atmosphere for an exhilarating and action-packed mini-golf adventure. Mini-golfer Mark Dexter said, “I really enjoy bringing my children to Island Cove. It’s a great atmosphere and all of us always end up having a fantastic time on the mini-golf course.”
But mini-golf is not the only adventure in store for those who visit Island Cove. Island Cove Adventure also has a 24 foot high outdoor rock-climbing wall. This rock-climbing wall is safely powered by hydraulics, and offers three degrees of difficulty to accommodate climbers of all skill-levels. All ages are welcome to try the climbing wall and staff-members are conveniently available to offer instruction to those who require assistance or guidance.
Island Cove Adventures also serves delicious homemade ice cream, sundaes, floats and frappes! What better way to celebrate a successful round of mini-golf or rock-climbing than with cold, delicious dessert? With Island Cove’s extensive list of toppings, there is no way you will miss out on creating your perfect ice-cream treat. For those who really have worked up an appetite, Island Cove also offers an outdoor grill open for lunch and dinner. This inexpensive dining option features burgers, hot dogs, wraps, sandwiches, veggie options and more. Located in a cabana on the back deck of Island Cove, the grill is the perfect place to “chill out” and enjoy a delicious meal.
