Store Summertime has approached the island of Martha’s Vineyard, and with it comes sunshine and warm weather. The sparkling water, glistening sun, and cool ocean breeze are calling our names saying, “It’s time to hit the beach!”
But before we can touch the sand, we must make sure we have all of our beach and summer necessities. Beach towels, goggles, beach floats, flip flops, and a good can of sunscreen make for a nice beach day. And what is a better place to get all of your summer essentials than at Trader Fred.
It is not called a variety store for nothing. Trader Fred really has it all! From a variety of fun beach games to arts and crafts to a pack of batteries to skateboards to a good pair of socks. You name it, Trader Fred probably has it.
Not only does Trader Fred have almost any item imaginable, but also it has the best everyday low prices! That’s right, cheap prices for quality stuff. One can find dresses, shirts, or a pair of pants for $2O or less. Brand name shoes are always on sale for low prices you can’t find anywhere else.
Upon arrival at Trader Fred, there are boxes and boxes of foam clogs and flip flops, perfect shoes for the beach, for $10.00 lining the left side of the porch. On the right side are endless possibilities for beach accessories such as boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas and more all for cheap prices. Take a step into the store and on the left is an endless variety of men’s clothing from dress pants to a fun, brightly colored beach shirt. On the right of the store is the women’s clothing section filled with cute sundresses to quality bathing suits. The options of clothing items offered can be found for any kind of occasion. And all for the lowest prices!
In the middle of the store, there are shelves full of games, floats for the pool, buckets of chalk, or a good pair of sunglasses, a must while being on the island, ranging from $6.00 to $8.00.
Behind that aisle are fully stocked golf clubs and many different types of sporting equipment. There is a brightly colored stack of skateboards and frisbees to pick up for a fun summer activity.
Finally, in the back are bountiful racks of brand name shoes just waiting to be treasured. Two unique additions to the shop are a walk-in cigar humidor stocked with boxes of cigars and a back room full of fishing gear with just about anything a fisherman might need.
Whether you are a local of the island or have come here on vacation, there is always something we are in search of.
