MV Ocean Sports is the place to go for adventurous water activities on the Island. Located right on the Oak Bluffs Harbor at the Dockside Marina, MV Ocean Sports offers guided jet ski tours, parasailing, wakeboarding, water skiing, knee boarding, tubing and boat rentals. A unique and exhilarating activity now offered is flyboarding. Jetpacks are no longer just within the realms of the Jetsons! Basically anything you’d like to do in the water, you’re covered at Martha’s Vineyard Ocean Sports. I recommend trying jetskiing, the thrill will whisk you away!
Mark Clarke is the owner of MV Ocean Sports and has been a Licensed Coast Guard Captain for over 25 years. Mark and the other instructors make safety their top priority. Before you start jetskiing, the instructor goes over a pamphlet of information that’s easy to digest. An instructor will always be with your group whether or not it’s a guided tour. It’s helpful because sometimes questions don’t come up until you’re actually out on the water jetskiing. The instructors are incredibly easy going and do everything they can to ensure you will have a great time!
The immersive experience you get is one that will not be forgotten. There’s something peaceful and spectacular about being out at sea and viewing Oak Bluffs from the water. MV Ocean Sports use the Yamaha VX 1100 4-Stroke WaveRunner jet skis. They offer excellent rates per hour from 10:00 a.m. until sunset– a single rider is $165, double is $195 and triple is $215. They offer a special early bird rate per hour from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m., which costs $140 for singles, $155 for double riders and $175 for triples. Also, from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m., all activities are 10% off. They are open seven days a week, from 8:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m.
