Golden Bull Brazilian Steakhouse on Five Corners in Vineyard Haven has opened its doors this spring and with it, brings the authentic experience of a rodizio to the island of Martha’s Vineyard. We had a chance to catch up with general manager, Stephanie Carvalho, who tells us more about the space.
This Week on MV: What does a Brazilian Steakhouse bring to the island?
Stephanie Carvalho: Golden Bull brings an authentic Brazilian dining experience to Martha’s Vineyard. We are proud to share the traditions, culture, and food of Brazil. Rodizio is the Brazilian style barbecue, offering a wide variety of different cuts of beef, pork, lamb and chicken that are slowly cooked over natural wood to pre-serve all their natural flavors. Tender pieces are brought to you on skewers and carved at your table. You may enjoy as much as you like, all for one fixed price. The Rodizio includes unlimited visits to our fabulous buffet with a wide variety of salads, vegetables, cheese, pasta, imported pro-sciutto, and delicious Brazilian hot dishes.

Stephanie Carvalho: Thiago Machado, he has lived on the island for about 13 years and is in love with Martha’s Vineyard. He wants to bring the local community a place where they can enjoy a unique dining experience with authentic food at a reasonable cost.
This Week on MV: How many butchers/cooks do you have?
Stephanie Carvalho: We have 6 butchers and 6 cooks that put together our buffet. All the chicken and pork are marinated in our special house recipe made with fresh ingredients. All the red meat is simply salted with rock salt.
This Week on MV: What makes your desserts special?
Stephanie Carvalho: Yes, all the desserts are made in house by our dessert chef Bruna Oliveira. She puts all her time in effort into making sure our desserts are presented beautifully and taste amazing. Including cake orders for special occasions.
You can dine in at Golden Bull for both lunch and dinner daily, as well as get take out. They also offer desserts and a full bar of authentic Brazilian juices and cocktails.
